Have you just ex-patted to North America and can't figure out how to watch your Hibees? No panic, here are some helpful resources for doing so.

Watching Hibs:

Hibernian Interactive
Sign up on Hibs' own site. Packages are monthly or yearly. Once you have the membership you can view highlights and listen to Radio Hibs and all kinds of other great things. Games can be seen on a pay per view basis, full length if a home game. The screen is small and you won't be seeing any details of player's faces but hey! You're watching your Hibees so just enjoy it!

Live-footy.org
One of our members says this works pretty regularly especially when the HI stream sucks. It could be delayed but it's free. You may have to download Sopcast first and/or TVAnt and/or TVU and/or Flash...check live-footy for the links. It's hit or miss for some.

Setanta
Setanta owns the broadcasting rights to SPL games until 2011, and they don't include SPL games in their broadband package, which sucks. They might broadcast them via Dish network or DirecTV but it's unclear.

Fox Soccer Channel (FSC)
They don't broadcast SPL games but you'll get English Premier League and some Australian highlight shows. They do run SPL news on the ticker tape style news, but who cares, you've already looked at Scotsman by then.

Finding Local Scots to Drink With While Watching Games:

Some SPL clubs have supporter's clubs here but the ones where you'll find actual members meeting at bars for games in various cities will be supporters of the ugly sisters. See this page for the list of NA SPL supporter club sites.

Hibees News:

You'll find Hibee-centric articles on Scotsman.com but game result articles and live match reports autorefresh every two minutes are always up on BBC first--they probably have more journos covering the games and more webmasters working to get articles posted.

And of course the official Hibs site has all the pertinent Hibs news first.
